Postdoctoral Research Associates

Dr. Lepak is a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute of Optics at the University of Rochester. Prior to joining the Institute, she served as the Senior Fabrication Engineer at Phoebus Optoelectronics, LLC for 10 years.  She holds a Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from Cornell University and a BA in Chemistry from Harvard University.  Her research interests span materials chemistry, micro/nanofabrication, and optical device development.

Dr. Zerey is a postdoctoral associate at the Institute of Optics at the University of Rochester. He earned his Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from the State University of New York at Binghamton in 2025, focusing on heterogeneous integration, particularly hybrid bonding interconnect technology. He holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Jordan University of Science and Technology (2017). He worked for three years as a research and development engineer in electrical equipment manufacturing in Kuwait.
