Facing economic crises, academic exclusion and precarious work in the traditional society of Andalucía, Spain, women had to come up with immediate solutions to deal with the everyday problems. Apaños is a materialisation of the Andalusian woman survival handbook, and a homage to the courage of these unsung heroes.

Amendments, tricks learned from an oral tradition, handmade inventions, and their testimonials are collected in an intimate series of booklets and films. (available upon request)
