The Texturehive is a portable archive of materials. Samples of materials can be collected and arrayed in different positions to originate an inspirational periodic palette of textures, colours, shapes or properties to which refer when producing a material outcome. These hexagonal cubicles are openable and stackable, thus a modular library of materials can be constructed mimicking a beehive.
